17th Nest Film Students Awards
El verano del león eléctrico by Diego Céspedes was awarded with the Panavision Award and The Girl with Two Heads by Betzabé García won the Orona Prize.
The Jury of the 17th Nest Film Festival, consisting of students from centres in Brazil, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Israel, Portugal, Russia, Spain, United Kingdom, USA and Switzerland; chaired by Virgil Vernier has decided to grant the following awards:
Panavision Award to the film:
For showing us an insight into a child’s mind, confined in a world in which he finds himself to be powerless.

The Panavision Award carrying a complete camera package including RED Epic camera and Primo standard lenses for four weeks of filming, or a voucher worth €10,000 for renting any kind of Panavision material, for the winning directo
The Orona Jury, consisting of students coming from the Universidad de Mondragon (Huhezi) and Escivi (Escuela de Cine y Video de Andoain). They will be coordinated by a teacher of the Universidad de Mondragon and there will be supported with the presence of Orona Fundazioa’s Developing Manager to grant the following award:
Orona Award to the most cutting – edge short film in the Meeting:
For its pioneering treatment of the female form - a theme approached so many times over the history of cinema- and for its technical and narrative innovation.
THE GIRL WITH TWO HEADS by Betzabé García
