General entry to the building and exhibitions, and to certain activities of the cultural programme, is free of charge. In each case, the price is given along with details on how to purchase tickets or register on the activity page. Read the general access and admission rules for Tabakalera’s transit zones.
OPENING HOURS OF THE BUILDING TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC:
Monday to Thursday: 8.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.
Fridays: 8.00 a.m. to 23.00 p.m.
Saturdays: 10.00 a.m. to 23.00 p.m.
Sundays and bank holidays: 10.00 a.m. to 10.00 p.m

Tuesday to Thursday: 12.00 noon to 8.00 p.m.
Fridays: 12.00 noon to 9.00 p.m.

Tabakalera has two main entrances: one via Plaza de las Cigarreras, and another via Plaza Nestor Basterretxea.
In addition to a flight of steps, the entrance via Plaza de las Cigarreras also has a ramp to make access easier.
There are automatic doors at both entrances.
There are wide staircases to access all floors.
The building has been adapted to a large extent for people with functional diversity and families.
The public toilets on floors 0, 1, 2 and 4 have all been adapted for people with functional diversity.
On floors 0 and 2 there are toilets and changing facilities for children/babies. Those on floor 2 are inside the Ubik creation library.
There is a place to leave pushchairs at the entrance to Ubik (Check the Ubik opening hours)
There is also a wheelchair at the disposal of users. If you need it, you can request it by going to the information point, by telephone (943 11 88 55) or by e-mail (info@tabakalera,eu)

Programme y accessibility
The education group regularly offers guided tours of the exhibition by the Sign Language Interpretation Service (SLIS). If you need to use this service, you can request it in advance.
The film projection room has six adapted armchairs, located between the conventionally-sized seats in the front row. They are available in advance ticket sales, as numbered tickets.
The film projection room has a magnetic hearing loop system.
Tabakalera offers a programme of individual free guided tours of the exhibitions, and of the building. Tours should be booked in advance using the mediation section on this website. Tour times are:
Visits in dialogue:
Twice a month, on wednesdays, at 6.00 p.m. (in spanish) and 7.00 p.m. (in basque)
Last wednesday of each month from 6.30 p.m. To 8.00 p.m. (language to meet guest's needs)

How to find us
Tabakalera is in the Egia district, a ten minute walk from the city centre, next to the train station and the future San Sebastián bus station.
Walk from the Centre to the Estación del Norte and through the Egia underpass.
Dbus: 09, 42, 44, 45, B3 lines.
From the Bus Station, go through the Egia underpass.
From the Estación del Norte (North Train Station), go through the Egia underpass.
Eating, drinking and sleeping
The Tabakalera building has a café at street level in the Nestor Basterretxea square, called Taba, serving breakfasts, meals, set menus, bar snacks and dinners. The building has also a 4-star hotel, called One Shot Tabakalera House, and will have a restaurant on the terrace.
Using a public space for recordings and photo shoots
In the different areas of Tabakalera that are considered public spaces, small non-commercial recordings can be made with permission. The permission is given for home or private recordings or photo shoots that do not involve any technical complexity or block any areas, where the use of a tripod is allowed, but without lighting equipment. Furthermore, they must not interrupt people traffic or require the involvement of Tabakalera staff or equipment.
